Plumeform vs Culture Amp

Plumeform vs Culture Amp.

Culture Amp is an employee experience platform with engagement surveys, benchmarks and performance tools, priced by quote and billed annually. Plumeform is a survey tool with a free plan and a $15 Pro plan, a minimum group size for anonymous results, and eNPS over time. If you need the platform, choose Culture Amp; if you need a well-run pulse survey, compare the details below.

Pick Culture Amp if

  • You want benchmarks: Culture Amp lists benchmarking on Engage, so your scores can be read against other companies. Plumeform has none.
  • Your employee list should come from your HRIS, so results split by team, manager and tenure without asking. Plumeform asks those questions in the survey.
  • You want stronger confidentiality: Culture Amp's Basic and Strong options also hide the next smallest group, so a small group cannot be worked out from the groups around it. Plumeform hides small groups, not their neighbours.
  • You want performance management (Perform), coaching or a People Scientist (on Enterprise, or as an add-on) alongside the surveys.

Pick Plumeform if

  • Per-head pricing and annual contracts do not fit. A monthly pulse for up to 100 people fits in Free's 100 responses a month; Pro is $15 a month, or $12 billed yearly, for 10,000 responses, whatever your headcount, with no annual contract.
  • Answers should be anonymous, not just confidential. Respondents never sign in, no email is asked for unless you add the question, and a minimum group size (free) hides any result for fewer people than you choose: the whole survey until enough have answered, a filter to one team, a cross-tab group and every shared results link.
  • You want to write the survey yourself and use the same tool beyond HR: eNPS by week or month, cross-tabs, and the research question types for customer and market surveys too.
  • You would rather start today than book a demo: Culture Amp publishes no prices.

Common questions.

Is Plumeform a replacement for Culture Amp?
For running a pulse or engagement survey and reading the results, often yes. For benchmarks against other companies, HRIS-driven reporting by manager, performance reviews and people science support, no: those are what Culture Amp's price buys.
How does Plumeform keep answers anonymous?
Respondents never sign in and no email is collected unless you ask for one. Turn on the minimum group size and any summary of fewer people than you choose is hidden, including filters, cross-tab groups and shared results links. It hides summaries, not rows: the people in your workspace who can open individual responses and exports still can, so say who they are.
Can I track eNPS over time?
Yes. Add an Employee NPS question and its card shows promoters, passives and detractors, plus the score by week or by month while the same link stays open. Periods with too few answers for the minimum group size show a dash.
Can each manager see their own team's results?
Not the way Culture Amp does it. Pro includes five seats, and a shared results link shows charts to anyone who has it. There are no per-manager dashboards.
