What these share

What to consider before you send one.

Review what could identify someone

Respondents do not sign in, and the survey does not automatically collect an email address. Demographic answers can still identify someone in a small group, so review which questions you need.

The same scale, every year

These mix rating scales, agreement grids and open questions. Keep each item's wording, scale and direction the same from one round to the next, which is what makes it comparable to last year. Reword an item and you have started a new series rather than extended one.

Share what happens next

Share the distribution of answers and explain what you will change. Be clear about findings that need more work or decisions you cannot act on.
