Plumeform vs 15Five

Plumeform vs 15Five.

15Five's Engage plan is $4 per user per month, billed annually, with benchmarking, and its help center calls engagement answers confidential rather than anonymous, because they are linked to employee accounts. Plumeform's respondents never sign in. It is free for up to 100 responses a month and $15 a month for 10,000. Compare the details below.

Pick 15Five if

  • You want benchmarking: 15Five lists it on Engage. Plumeform has none.
  • You want weekly check-ins and performance management next to the engagement survey (Perform, $11 a user a month).
  • Your employee data should come from your HRIS, so results can be grouped by team without asking.
  • You want manager coaching and training bought from the same vendor.

Pick Plumeform if

  • Answers should be anonymous, not just confidential. Respondents never sign in, no email is asked for unless you add the question, and a minimum group size (free) hides any result for fewer people than you choose: the whole survey until enough have answered, a filter to one team, a cross-tab group and every shared results link.
  • Per-head pricing and annual contracts do not fit. A monthly pulse for up to 100 people fits in Free's 100 responses a month; Pro is $15 a month, or $12 billed yearly, for 10,000 responses, whatever your headcount, with no annual contract.
  • You want to write the survey yourself and use the same tool beyond HR: eNPS by week or month, cross-tabs, and the research question types for customer and market surveys too.
  • Your people would answer more candidly knowing there is no account behind their answer.

Common questions.

Are 15Five engagement surveys anonymous?
15Five's own help center says engagement responses are confidential, not anonymous: they are linked to employee accounts internally, and results for groups under the minimum (5 by default) are hidden from managers.
How does Plumeform keep answers anonymous?
Respondents never sign in and no email is collected unless you ask for one. Turn on the minimum group size and any summary of fewer people than you choose is hidden, including filters, cross-tab groups and shared results links. It hides summaries, not rows: the people in your workspace who can open individual responses and exports still can.
The catch?
Without an account behind each answer, Plumeform cannot split results by manager unless you ask which team someone is in, and it cannot remind the people who have not answered. 15Five can.
