Launch a panel study and prepare payouts
Carry participant IDs into responses, test completion paths, and review bonus or rejection lists before using them.
Use a link with participant IDs
Use the panel launch tools for the platform recruiting your participants. Plumeform recognizes PROLIFIC_PID for Prolific, participantId for Connect, and workerId for MTurk. Keep the platform’s parameter placeholders intact when copying a launch link.
If repeat participation is not allowed, enable the panel-participant duplicate check. A browser-only check is weaker because participants can change browsers or clear storage.
Test completion and screen-out paths
Configure completion codes or redirects to match the study on the panel platform. Test a normal completion, an ineligible participant, a full quota, and any study debrief. The debrief appears after a successful submission and before the final completion action.
Use test mode for practice runs, but also check the panel’s own preview workflow and URL parameter substitution. Do not recruit until the platform receives the intended completion outcome.
Prepare bonus and review lists
Panel payouts on Pro exports lists from completed responses that arrived with a panel ID. Choose all completions, completions passing every attention check, or a per-quiz-point bonus when scoring is available. Amounts use your panel’s currency and two decimal places.
Downloading a list does not send money or reject participants. Review IDs, amounts, and eligibility before using the list in the panel platform. A failed attention check is evidence to review, not an automatic rejection decision. Check the selected export’s scope rather than assuming a temporary chart filter controls payouts.
